The newest update changed all my (cheated) 64 slot containers (Outpost Locker) to 16's. This also deleted all the "extra" items outside the 16 mark. Why the change? The 64's were less efficient space-wise (2.5 slots per square) than the minikong lockers (4 slots per square). As a hoarder, I don't mind rifling threw every container while exploring but, I dislike going threw dozens of containers an my base to keep my organization standards. With the thousands of items you experience, bulk storage is the only way to keep categories simple, groups of 16 is just too much micro-management.

    Sympathy note:
Today I lost my home planet AND more than 70% of my collected items.

you think you had it tough? i paid 15£ for this early access video game that would clearly take a long time to complete and it's still not done yet. can you believe that?

The outpost shipping container also had this change. Which doesn't make sense, since the outpost shipping container should have been big enough to fit all of these.

As for the lockers, I swapped over to lunar base lockers. They don't have 64, but they have more storage than outpost lockers. Or you could switch over to shiplockers.

I wonder what the new (non hacked) biggest container size will be? I like to hoard things as well until I get them scanned into the system and can make more with pixels and printing. I usually sort and arrange them into relative décor patterns and themes as well. Needless to say, having item management OCD in Starbound is both a curse and a blessing.
