Indeed, the response so far has been rather wonderful I think. I imagine all of the development staff are very happy that so many people are interested enough to pre-order (and some to throw in a little extra) to see this project brought to a swift and satisfying completion.

 

It's probably going to slow down from now on, lets bug our friends until they cave in!!! Brainwash* errr I mean educate them about the wonders of starbound!

 

Would have been double the amount at least if there was a decent trailer. Ah well.

 

its also only the people who have the money to preorder at the moment we should expect more peak times in the future when events that increase publicity occur and around the time people get money to preorder the game though the later peaks will be smaller in comparision

Need a 750k goal. They underestimate how popular their game is/is going to be. Tiy was on twitter saying he was impressed that they got 40k or something like that less than a day ago. Now we are already at 400k, 500k is definitely happening this week. I'd like to see the look on their faces, I doubt they expected this.

I think 1 million would be hard to reach, but if they put a good 1 million goal (and allow people to upgrade to high packs or set up payment plans like Path of Exile did), then I'm sure they'd reach their 1 million in preorders with no problems.

Side note: I wish there was a $250 pack. $500 is too much for me, $75 is too little.
