This is bloody amazing. Looks like we're starting to get more Terraria-esque weapons, which has me excited.
I have also had that same problem. I also think that the specials in some swords that I got were not doing enough damage to be better than a basic attack.
LAZORZ! YAS! THE LAZORZ MUST BE WEAPOOONS! I saw the bow. With all the bow wielding npcs and new bow types, does this mean that bows will actually be viable weapons now? I always use bows, even thought they're not that good right now Also, will there be more attention to the pvp aspect of the game, or making vanilla servers? Imo, this game is great for a factions gamemode.
Shortly finally a hight-tech energy weapons in a game about space traveling, i have only one question WHY SO LATE ? Anyays i hope this lazer weapons will be as good in stats as good they're look.
I think it's cool to show sword's blade when it slash now: appear <combo1>-<combo2>-<combo3> disappear better：appear<combo1>disappear-appear<combo2>disappear-appear<combo3>disappear（like ROCKMAN ZERO） If there are people who love the feeling of Star Wars，you can ： one hand sword：only click→combo two hand sword：click Left mouse button→combe；hold Right mouse button→Block ranged attack（Use energy slot per second）
When we're talking about staffs and wands - I really would like see a utility staff that would show you the direction of the nearest chest object (if any). I mean it could spawn a single projectile that could search a chest, move 5 blocks in its direction and disappear. Think it could be a really nice addition to the game - balanced (since it just shows the general direction) and helpful (especially on midnight planets...)
I'm happy as long as they never reach the point of SPAMMY LASER SWORD like all of the upper-tier swords in Terraria.
I thought the same when I saw the "proto-beam like" laser. Some back gear can emulate the proto beam pack quite nicely. Dang, can't take out the movie theme from my head now. Annnnnd, don't cross the beams!
personally i like the fact that the pistol beam wobbles as it streams its really cool..cant wait to try them
