This is a brilliant idea, They could make elaborate dungeons where you actaully need to shoot special mirrors with laser weapons to open doors and activate other items to pass through certain places, Sort of like how some places have a need for the morphball to get to the items.
Laser sword thing needs a flashlight mode. Or an identical-looking flashlight as a separate item. To confuse people.
That may sound cool, but those of us who played Legend of Zelda are all "oh crap, not the mirror shield puzzles all over again!"

This... First thought I had was "COOOOL" and right after that "I hope there's a way for enemies and players to counter that laser beam". Some personal shield came to my mind, but that mirror idea sounds awesome, reflecting the beam around and possibly back to the source
Oooooohh! This is fantastic! I especially like how the blade collapses down into the hilt of the sword when not in use. Little touches like that are always great! (and it shows what we'll be able to do with modded weapons down the line!) And the more unique weapons the better! Even if it's just visual differences like the sword (assuming it doesn't have special abilities) it adds so much... pizzazz to the world. ...I just used pizzazz in a sentence and it worked.
3 Words: It's about time. PLEASE let the real laser (the beam) not be a victim of "balancing", and make it a proper room-sweeper... It's fine if I can fire it only 3 seconds, but I want to clear the screen in those 3 seconds. Think Ghost Busters proton beam; that stuff wobbles like a mofo.
Personally I like the wobble. Gives it character which most energy weapons in media lack. I don't care if it's unscientific we have magic psychic? staffs, floating creatures made 75% of fire, excrement golems, crystal-powered technology, and lovecraftian physics-breaking crystal fuel with eyes which turns sometimes-pink squishy people into even-more-pink even-more-squishy flesh-monsters.
Those can't be lasers. A laser would go on a completely straight line. They are likely laser-induced plasma weapons, or compressed lightning.
Yeah, it looks more like a stream and less like a beam. I like how it looks, but I also like the "proper" lasers. Maybe we could have both? Pretty please?
The bow looks odd that it's shooting arrows. I would expect it to be just short beams since they're lazers.
