    I think the middle tech is butterfly boost (i have it, similar icon) allows you to fly forward in a straight line while shitting butterflies.

    And as far as poster is concerned:
    You can only scan 2 things
    Items with a pixel value (Furniture)
    Seeds for harvesting plants
