    Avian want wingsss to fly.
    Floran hasss wingsss.
    Floran like wingsss.
    Avian still want wingsss.
Floran feel bad for avian plight, but putsss foot down. Wingsss belong to Floran.
Sssearch for new wingsss. Not find.
Wish Floran could replicate. Have cake and eat.

Yeah, I think the 3D printer needs more blueprints to use, i still think torches should be printed too since it has a print value of 12 pixels to break down. And clothes too for multiplayer would be nice.

Nah, making a simple loot duplicator would be a bad idea.

It would devalue everything, no longer is that item unique, and rare to find, now ya can literaly give everyone in a server your cosmetic items, it ruins the fun of exploration and finding it.

Torches, decorative items, etc, ll good, but printing full items, eh, I just dont see it working.

I would rather it be crafting the various clothing options somehow, so there would be at least another way to gain beyond just finding...

While they should add more options to crafting clothes, i disagree that it should be the same clothes you can find. Exploration rewards should remain exploration rewards in my humble opinion.

But they could allways add new clothes for crafting.

What I am saying is when you find certain clothing, you should be able to scan, and then be able to craft it. That way you would still have to find them first in order to be able to craft it. Not just craft from the get go. That would be silly.

It is one thing I am kind of doing with my own personal mod, or was in the Koala edition. At least with various blocks & furniture items that were not craftable already. So I can see the same being done with clothing, even if I have to mod it in. So first find, then scan, then craft. Well if you wanted more than one of that particular article.

Does the 3-d printer even work at all on Unstable right now? It won't eat all this stuff.

Im sure it works, fairly certain I used it, scanned several objects and made some too.

It wont "eat" any weaponry or blocks, but it can "eat" furniture, like security cameras, chairs, stuff like that.

Yeah, I think we need expanded use of the printer. Partially to store all of my cosmetic items, but mainly for printing blocks that I can only otherwise make by desecrating planets.

Um, no. clothing should be craft able with the piles of plant fiber/fabric that we accumulate.

I think the amount of pixels needed for printing clothing should be very high, and furthermore scale with the rarity of the item. Even then just the cosmetics found from chests, not the craftable ones. Being able to print vanity items you can also craft would remove the effort of actually gathering the items needed for crafting.

No, I think it shouldn't be done from the printer... but from the cloth crafting table. There is so little to use cloth for anyways.

    Why not both?
It used to happen with flags and wiring stuff. With a bit of balancing, I see no reason why it shouldn't work here; if someone wants to spend pixels, they can, but if they want to use fabric, they also can.
I fail to see the problem here...

Somewhere, GabeN is crying- The hat economy, down the drain! I sort of like RNG hats, myself, because what hats my characters finds always gives them a little bit of unplanned personality. I do wish that merchants sold racial armor schematics more frequently, but I imagine that merchants will be getting an overhaul soon.

The reason to not have both is the clutter in the pixel printer. After I get to end game, there is a big list of crap to scroll through to get to what I want to print... while the weaver station has next to nothing in it. It is a smarter location to put the list of clothing, in the clothing crafting item. It's the most simplistic solution that I see. Or we could just leave it TF2 style, and RNG the hats for all eternity :proper:

The 3D printer needs better organization regardless.

Yea, it definitely needs to glow red or something with things that can't be "eaten." (I know there's just no pixel amount)

What needs to be available is the rest of the starter clothes from the other races (Apex, Hylotl, Floran). Maybe have the generic clothes merchants you find on planets sell their race's clothing?

Would make finding right clothing easssier. Floran like Glitch dresssesss, not know to make or dye.
