... I've been copying a few things in the 3D printer, and I noticed something-- everything is ridiculously expensive. 500 pixels for a "Cheap Light" is anything but cheap, for example! It could probably standto be cut down to a tenth of its current price. The various Basic Tent styles are slightly better, at 325, but even that's overdoing it for something that's just a bed replacement. As it currently stands, you need to spend an hour getting resources to buy a single lightbulb.
Actuallyscratch that, it's more expensive than I thought. 325 to "record" a bed, 1500 to reproduce it, for example. THat's an obscene amount of pixels! I'd hate to imagine trying to afford an entire household of stuff.
I completely agree with this. The prices to replicate an item in the printer should really only be slightly higher than the price to scan them. This needs more support.
Considering that all the items you can put into the 3D Printer are ether Furniture or Decorations, the prices should be lowered until they add usefully items that can be scanned/printed.
Honestly, I'd rather have it just be a RE(Reverse Engineer) machine. Using it puts the blueprint in a furniture making machine, then you craft it out of materials. SO making a bedcost the materials to make it. That way it's balanced, and imho more fun than just spamming monsters for a while and printing off a bunch of XYZ.
Honestly The 3d printer prices are very Low just in the earlier tiers are they expensive even by the time i got to tier 2-3 i was having a Huge excess of pixels Having Hundreds of Bars i could convert hording my inventory space which equated to over 100k pixels and only in beta sector. if anything the printer should Cost more.
This would be an acceptable compromise, but I wonder waht Floran stuff would be made out of? There's no furs in teh game, for example.
