I had an idea

 

I actually like the first one. 3-D shapes for a 3-D printer.
The second one looks like an inside joke to me, I don't know why, it just does.
But the second one is actually a 4-D shape, as it takes perspective into account, no real shape can exist like that.

In a 3-D environment, the middle option would be three bars, when viewed at an angle, seem to connect and form a triangle constantly spiraling towards you. (So long as it is in a shadowless environment.)
But from almost any other viewing angle, you can see the ruse. This shift in perspective brings to light that it cannot exist, as it merely forms an illusion and not an actual object.

TL;DR
I enjoy the first option, the second option is 4-D, the fourth dimension being perspective here, not time.

 

The first icon would represent the 3D printer's ability better, but the second icon would work well as a logo. Not really a fan of the third icon.

3rd one looks to clustered and too many things going on in my opinion.

number 1 is not very tasteful
number 2 is my choice it looks smooth
number 3 looks way to rough or unprofessional, you don't see any of his other works like that do you?

 

I don't like #2 because it's not as clear as I would like it to be. Looks to rounded.
#3 looks sharp and crisp, and I can tell there are edges.
#1 Looks like the windows image icon.

 

If this is a "poll", where is the poll? I like the third most, second one second.

 

On the left is an icon that can be used to tell if the item was made by a 3D printer.
and on the right is an icon of a 3D printer... found here

But if I had to choose I would pick the first Icon OR the second one.

That isn't exactly a poll as I imagined it. I figured the OP would have posted a poll on here. You know...multiple choice.

 

First one looks too... normal compared to the others.
Other two are kinda the same to me, but I think I like the third better, it's more defined.

 

Remember fellas, don't just respond in this thread but also be sure to actually tweet Tiy what you think is best!

Anyway, I like the second one best. The first one is probably the most appropriate with the 3D shapes, but I personally like the use of symbols for icons.
