3D printer icon poll on Tiy's twitter

Pretty sure you guys saw this, but Tiy was asking what icon people liked best for the 3D printer.




I personally like the middle on the best but would be interested in hearing what everyone else likes too.

Third one, easily. It gives the impression that the 3D printer will be capable of pretty much anything, including "impossible" objects such as the one pictured.

 

Neither. I want it to be a pixel cube being assembled/disassembled, like the 3D printer is in the process of manufacturing it.

I also prefer the second one. While I do agree with Sousuke, it kinda breaks the symmetry of the GUI if the symbol is bigger than the space on the button.
("The" count in that sentence: 5. Wow. What the heck was the I the thinking.)

First one. Last two are too........plain imo.

 

Ditto for the second one.

 

At this size i prefer the mid one. But i think that in game it will look smaller and the third one looks good small.

 

I don't like any. In a good icon you can tell what it is for just by looking at it, but I can't tell what any of these icons are for.

 

I don't really like any of them.. But if I had to choose, it would be the middle one.

 

Perhaps some sort of combination between 2 and 3. I like the outlines but I think they should be a bit less pronounced.

1st one is bland... and 3rd has black borders inside, wich doesn't look good

 

I'll be sad if it isn't the middle one.

Middle one looks the best out of the three to me. Simplistic and nice-looking while staying in the borders neatly.

 

First is just... cluttered to me, it has nothing going on for it. Third looks bizarre with the borders, I don't think anything else in the game has borders like that, so my vote is for the second.
