I’d really like to see some unique dyes as rewards from missions. Just imagine a glowing blue fiery Hylotl under water, with a neon green electric cape flowing through the ripples of the ocean. Would it also be possible to create our own dye colors, using some sort of RGB slider or color picker, and have the ratio/amount of petals required based off the color values?
You don't, the game maps the base palette to the desired color's palette like so: Base color 1 -> Blue color 1 Base color 2 -> Blue color 2 Base color 3 -> Blue color 3 Base color 4 -> Blue color 4 At least that's how it worked the last time I checked, one of the devs might be able to confirm whether or not this is still the case.
Wait, if you can dye the visor too, (probably not) and you dye the visor gold and the armor dark green, i might work as the Master Chief.
Nice, finally racial costumes will be worth crafting, and finally i'll be able to make Avian raven armor black once more, can't wait for stable update.
Sorry if this was already asked but, what is with furniture, vehicles? To change these colors would be marvelous too! Anyway, thanks a lot for adding this feature!
This update is to dye for! can't believe no one made this joke yet. Seriously now, it would be nice if we could also apply body paint to our vehicles, if we can't already. Maybe add some decals? I fully admit I am coming from Fallout 4 with this idea. I painted my Power Armor red with flames, because Iron Man (also badassery. Oh, and the agility bonus is a plus).
Oh, this is a good day. Now I can finally have a use for all those petals I have been collecting, and look the colors I want.
Talking about customisation. Will there be a skin/look for weapons as it is for armors? Would be nice to have stats of one axe and wield a cooler looking one.
I am very excited for these new colors! But the reward bag has crashed my game a few times. :\ Edit: Also does anybody know the song the Poptops sing?
