I have no words left for this game anymore, it's absolutely everything I could ever want from a massive sandbox game. I am seriously impressed by the commitment and love that these devs are giving to this thing. This is an emotional experience for a gamer who takes his hobby seriously.
to add musical instruments to the game was a great idea! music could add a great dept to the different cultures in the game. please do a melodica!
Hahaha! Only such a great idea could have led to so many requests. Now users are demanding every instrument in the galaxy. Maybe we should take a vote on this. Harmonica and ukulele. Please. Bartwe has set a high standard. It'll be interesting to see what everyone else is up to.
Honestly now, wasn't this the kinda thing that I think was also used in Mabinogi? Not trying to say you stole anything, but could it be possible that you took a bit of inspiration from it? Obviously there are probably a ton of other games that use this kind of mechanic, but I swear Mabin is the only thing that comes to mind to me when I hear this.
.... Oh god... just another feature in a SCI FI world I don't actually give two shits about. Well done.
Holy banana peel sundae, this is exciting. And this was WEEKEND work? Like, when you guys were supposed to be taking a break, having fun, etc? Although I assume it was fun for you guys... As long as clarinet or flute is in there at some point, I will be happy. I have real life friends who play trombone (I think) and flute, and I play the clarinet...who needs to make 'irl' bands when we can do it on Starbound? Eee, excited...~ On a similar note (ha...note...see what I did there), I'm getting the feeling that Starbound is aiming to emulate real life's little things almost entirely. I can tell this will negatively affect the health of at least 50% of the people who play it, me included, as our very souls get sucked into the game and we forget which world is reality or game. I want this to happen!~ It will be a glorious addiction, and before I know it, I'll start losing muscle mass and my skin will get pale because I will be living in an underground bunker with no sunlight or exercise, with my bum glued to a gaming chair. Ok maybe that's a bit extreme, but come on, it's not completely inaccurate! Once more I just have to say that I am amazed by the team's dedication and focus, and truly admire what they're making. It always makes me smile to see developers that truly enjoy making a game, and I think you guys do - it shows in the amount of effort and quality work that goes into the game. Like everyone else (I assume), I am practically foaming at the mouth waiting for the beta, but I'm glad that when it does come out, it will be a good experience worthy of the game's completed version. Keep up the good work, don't lose faith, and most of all keep having fun
