a space/anti-gravity set would be really cool! the furniture could be on the roof of the building and when you sit in it your upside down!

 

I think that there should be more steampunk based furniture, and I think that the Novakid would have something like futuristic western, or cattlepunk, basically a steampunk cowboys sort of theme. That's the approach I took to decorating my Novakid's ship, I mined as many sewer pipes as I could, and used it to get a whole steampunk feel to my ship.

 

I'd love to see this type of stuff, could have like a anti-gravity planet specifically for this type of furnitures/buildings. And have like a anti-gravity tech which switches between up/down left/right, so you could walk on the walls, ceiling, or regular.

 

Yes, settlements for all species are planned.

That's Hylotl, not novakid. Here is an early picture of a Hylotl arcade. Granted, Humans have some arcade machines as well. You can see those in places like the Human Arcade Battle microdungeon.

We're not there yet, but they seem to be going in that direction with a lot of the newer Hylotl stuff. The Hylotl mission is set in an abandoned underwater library. Here is an early screenshot of a couple rooms in it. (I took it a month ago, I think it's been updated since then)

It would be cool to get a true museum though. I think we will get that around the time fossils are implemented, since we will be able to put fossils we get out on display.

That was added 4 years, 1 month, and 14 days after Terraria's release. Starbound has not been released yet.

I think the stuff from Apex Apartments and Human Villages cover a lot of those areas already. They will probably add a bit more though I'm sure.

What about the Oasis/Reed set? It's not perfect, but it's something for now.

A furniture set like that would be pretty cool, though I think they could probably make it so you could place the current furniture on ceilings/walls. (Might be a lot of work, but it's an option)

Also, if you haven't seen them, I think you guys would be interested in Quiqksilver's anti-gravity and asteroid builds. (You can actually have anti-gravity ingame with admin commands, which he uses)

Yeah, if you could place all the current furnitures on ceilings/walls then that would give more options for the player.

What Quicksilver is experimenting with is pretty interesting, but like he mentions it affects both the player spaceship and the planet, but not the mobs and some other objects, so it has it's problems. I think if the developers worked on anti-gravity specific stuff it would give the game more options, like there could be end-game dungeons with anti-gravity, some kind of boss(es) made for this to make it really challenging, etc. Players building on zero-g planets, etc. Would be pretty interesting.

 

Full game release date is irrelevant when month old Early Access games also have that kind of integrated support for multiplayer on Steam.

Casino. Why stop at a poker table when full on casinos could happen. Playing card posters or just the suits. Spotlights too please.

By the way im seeing a poker tabel will we be able to play card games on it seeing that there are already arcade machines in starbound and if so will there be a flip the tabel button there too *bip bop bap*

 

I'd love a 'modern' or 'clean' furniture set, and maybe a few blocks like smooth white plaster to easily construct futuristic and sleek housing. Do a search for "modern house" or "modern condo", and generally that's the kind of aesthetic I'd like in a furniture or block set.

Left-hookers or right-hookers? I did see that one gif posted where they were trying out boxing gloves, so...[DOUBLEPOST=1435714642][/DOUBLEPOST]A CARNIVAL! With rides and stuff! And prizes you can win! Like giant plushies that are actually chairs you can sit on! And more fluffy stuff! Not just the carpet blocks we have now, but carpeted flooring like the ornate wooden flooring, with low-pile and deep-pile shag, and placeable rugs!

And maybe a health meter bar for the monsters you capture as pets so you can see how injured they are, plus a way to give them healing stuff... but that's more something for the general suggestions thread I would think =~_^= It just happened to be on my mind because I'm mining the white and compressed smooth stone out of a planet together with a cute blue kitty-ish pet, and it keeps getting killed by strong monsters we uncover.

 

I did something very similar but did not limit myself to just sewer pipes. You can do AMAZING things through alternating sewer and outpost pipes!
And thanks for bringing up the term "cattlepunk", which I didn't know yet and referred to the same aesthetic as "revolverpunk". Always nice to learn something new.

 

I would like to see something graveyard themed.

 

I'd REALLY like to see something along the lines of Desertpunk/Wasteland/Post-Apocalyptic/Used-Future-flavored furnishings, and maybe even a Wasteland biome and a Ruins sub-biome if that's a possibility.

 

What about adding tentacle world back and having their funriture, maybe some special mobs and new kind of water?
Its just and Idea, you can ignore it btw xD

 

I'm hoping they'd add villages/cities for the Humans, Hylotl and Novakid.
