i giggles a little when i saw all the fruit! i love farming and many sandbox games don't add it well(in my opinion).

Yyyeeaahhhh but being religious Spode-worshipping Zealots was sooooo fun!

 

Eh, religious people annoy the crap out of me. I like playing a fanatical zealot in RP because it allows for an interesting character. A fanatical space empire just made my species look primitive.

 

That's fair enough, but personally I like the idea of a very technologically-advanced society but with very primitive morals and culture.

 

It's a mind manipulator.

 

I suppose progress is progress, I am sure glad you posted it though otherwise I would have never known about it.

 

Keep in mind that they are not making a beta but a full game though :]

 

Wouldn't you need food for hardcore mode? Which I believe they have most of it completed.

 

My face when my characters always have ten times more disadvantages than advantages. (Even in Pen&Paper games. >___>)

Ontopic: I really hope we're getting some sorts of benefits from making this food. And by benefits I am thinking of achievements. Or something. No idea really. I just want it to be something that is encouraged to be done. Otherwise I know I am not going to spend much time cooking foods. Which makes me feel like I am missing out on one part of the game.

It already does!
But it's gone because I ate it all.

 

At the moment I should hope they're working primarily on a beta release seeing as people are getting incredibly antsy about it and they wouldn't be doing themselves any favors by working on features for a full release at this current moment.

You would need food for hardcore mode, if there is one. (I haven't heard of any hardcore mode, I've only seen the hunger bar as being optional) But you wouldn't need a full on cooking system for that, finding fruit/meat on plants/animals would suffice.

I'm not complaining about the work they're doing, its their game they can develop it however they like. But I'm not going to lie and claim that I'm excited for a cooking feature because I'm really not.

Looking at sheer amount of avaliable items one thing is clear: We're gonna need bigger chests than that
Inventory looks kinda small, especially compared to terraria (which had way less items). Is that constant or can it be expanded by bigger bagpack ( or portable wormhole ;D) ?

 

I hope the websites not messed up again its 12:02am and the May 30th update isn't there whats the hold up??? did they stop??? is the game coming out??? do I delete my cache??? "saracsm"
