That would be cool! Reminds me of one enemy in Diablo III, such a huge rock-man-creature who turns out to be a small thing with just putting a rock armor on. And tries to get another one, if the first is destroyed.
Also A idea! So lets say you have to damage this guy to make its rocks fall off and when all the rocks fall off you can deal damage to him. But whenever he burrows it restores/puts back rocks! Eh? Eh? Also projectile weapons don't work when it has rocks on it. (accept laser guns) <- Laser guns will always deal damage. And... besides the drill projectile attack it can roll at the player. it gets onto the planets surface and starts rolling at the player. Dealing damage on contact. Plz reply Pwease?
Floran concerned. Hunt might give hard time to stab. Floran want to keep rock pet, but rock pet eat house. Maybe Floran eat rock pet? For punishment.
I personally prefer Drillock, and if we'll be able to fight it again in its better form: Drillockann (Drill, Rock, Lock, Lagann)
This thing looks pretty interesting indeed... like a mole... which excavates... with drills. Hm... now I am wondering if it dislikes some firepower... literally firepower... Maybe some kind of weapon creating a shockwave into the ground might force it to get out of the ground making it easier to attack it. That means anything explosiv might be very usefull on this mechanical monster... maybe shooting a rocket on the ground might let it come out and then you can fight it without it hiding underground. Thats truly a good concept for a boss. Hopefully it will be implemented very well since it looks promising Maybe Excabore as a name... since another word for bore (with D) cant be used for it which would bring up copyright issues... you know... this thing is like a mole... which excavates stuff... and has drills as arms...
OMNI-DRILL? Since it looks rather like the Omnidroid,atleast to me,it seems kinda fiting? Also,it better have been used by Humans to defeat the Tentacle moster!
