Race specific pets is a bit disappointing to me.. Also, why are they creatures of earth anyway..? I guess they could be available, but at least make them incredibly rare and expensive seeing as how earth was destroyed.. Most likely you would have some alien creature at your side, right? ...

Unfortunately, after a lawsuit brought forward by Penguins for the Ethical Treatment of Avians, it is illegal to own penguin pets. Some might follow you around anyway, though; it's not like they're going to pass up an offer of free food.
I feel glitch would bet a robotic animal though. Maybe a floran? Pigs were used for truffle hunting in jungles.
Would be nice if there was animal farming, so I could make bacon without having to buy ones from the Terramart. And who says humans can't eat cats? Isn't Asia part of Earth?
Next up would be a pig with wings. That sprite looks deliciously (excuse the pun?) easy to put wings on them.
I think we already have a bunch of beetles and other varieties of insects that we abduct with our netted devices and imprison them in isolated glass containment objects for the rest of their life. Pets are more likely to be a little bit bigger. I vote for a poptop pet.
