Legris is working on the Floran intro, which is suitably creepy. Also about Malu i knew about that since 2012 Tiy
Tiy, people want an option for generic lore when examining items. Now while I couldn't care less, some people want it. Will this be an option?
Did you say Malukah? The Malukah? She makes awesome music ! I can't wait to hear the song she made for Starbound!
Maybe add a "pose" exemple in the next update, Tiy? Looking at all the previous, I guess none of us are absolutely certain of what those are supposed to be even with your short explanation. xD Please keep up the good work. you guys.
I'm hesitant when Tiy mentioned 'leveling/scaling mechanics'. Level scaling is what killed Oblivion for me, it was easier to beat that game at lvl 5 than lvl 20. I hope they don't mean we have killer bunnies always the same level as you. Otherwise cool.
Seeing how much progress you guys make each day, makes me rather excited! Also, can't wait to hear Malukah's song! Getting so excited, I feel like dancing! *does an odd little jig* .....ok never let me dance again, I think I injured myself.
Then what's it for? Is it a new ranking system for the forums, or is it for another game all together (like RoR)?
Phew! Still though, I hope you can repeat bosses on higher level planets, would hate to go past a level 20 boss and never have it offer a challenge again, I want to fight it again at the higher difficulties! Also, two daily updates in a row without screenshots? For shame!
I think that he was talking about level scaling. Starbound will have levels, but enemies that scale up to your level apparently wont be in the game.
That Starbound song will be absolutely epic! Good to hear ya guys are just, chug-chuggin along, keep it up!
No he probably means that the leveling/scaling sillyness of Oblivion, where everything stays on your level, wouldn't be. Planets are created and given a threat level enemies are generated randomly on these planets and have to match each one no matter the randomness (probably even deeper than that taking in account of dungeons and bosses and other random stuff), requires variables, requires someone to create/tweak them.
