Maybe Humans could have more recipes for crafting and construction? Or your idea and they need less materials to craft with or they can improvise?
    You're right, it is hard!

How about this: In the far reaches of space, we find a planet made entirely of dungeons connected to each other forming a giant mob controlled planet?

Or the planet is a boss and you have to mine bits off of it to defeat it?

Also i feel without some techno magic the game would get boring or maybe just needs it , will you be adding maybe some bioshock like powers?

If humans left their home planet because of a giant tentancle monster living deep in it, why would they want to face a planet-sized monster?

That would be a good idea, since bioshock plasmids/vigors are not technically magic, but science.

I'm actually planning on pre-ordering the game later today, it would be a shame if I couldn't do that after the beta's released. I do know that there's a thread about this but I didn't really understand whether or not I'm gonna be able to pre-order the game AND get the beta, after the beta's released. So I'll ask it here, can I get the beta if I pre-order it after it's released, or should I hurry up and pre-order it is as soon as possible? Cause I only found out about this game like 2 days ago and I'm already planning on buying it!

I may be wrong but I think once beta is released the price will go up. That's what seems to happen with most games.

Wasn't the price supposed to go up after it's released? Cause that's what happened with Minecraft

Gosh, I thought somebody on the dev team died...

But anyway, yay an update! They keep saying how they're finishing major things in Starbound, and I think, "BETA!1!!!"

Then the next day, "New major GUI work finished :mwahaha:" On a side note, you guys are doing great! :X

If you pre-order the game at any time no matter what, you will get access to the beta unless the game has already been FULLY RETAIL RELEASED. Otherwise it's all the same.

Because for us, we are the norm. So if we think of humans as the norm, or course it's difficult to think of what were exspecially good at.
