As great as the base game should be, the fact that it can be modded is huge. Mods extend the life of games much better than just about anything else can do.
I'm used to people saying 'Had to stay up to midnight refreshing to wait for this!', but it was always lunch time for me. For the first time, I see it the way the others do

I cannot wait for this game! To tell an infinite amount of stories and adventures. Kind of like the way I play Skyrim... I've restarted over 50 times just finding new ways to play. With 7 races to play as on an infinite amount of planets and infinite possibilities, I'm sure I could write several novels!

I'm thinking mid to late August for the you-know-what. I am just so ready to play this game and I know I'll be yelling "yes" for the first 10 minutes and after that there'll be an overwhelming feeling. Also do we know an estimated file size for the beta/ full game? (I have slow internet so I want to prepare myself for the inevitable download time.) Overall I look forward to these updates and even more so to the Beta and Release!
As Much as I like the screenshot givin.. The stairs here bother me a bit.. Might wanna extend the planks of it just a tad more so it doesnt look like ur balancing on one foot on the stairs.. its just a thought tho
