Wow! This looks cool! I can't wait to see a ) more generated shop NPCs for different shops, b ) modded race NPCs, and c ) modded shops as well! Starbound is really starting to get somewhere now!
A floran selling plant seeds? - isn't that like Child Plant Trafficking? I knew under her adorable looks, lived a sinister vixen.
I think my only question is, is the object destructible and scannable in the 3d printer. Cause I know for myself I'd love to take these shops and make a planet with them on it.
I hope these gifs serve only for an exemplification because seeing the NPCs doing those movements every 2 seconds would bug the heck out of me... This again?! How hard is it for you people to UNDERSTAND that there's a difference between a regular, non-sentient plant and a Floran?? Are YOU akin to a cow just because you're both made of flesh and bones? NO! Same thing with Hylotl and fishing, Humans and Apex with hunting, Glitch with metallurgy or Avians with chicken drumsticks for dinner! They're NOT selling the equivalent of their infants, relatives, body parts, or organs. GET. IT. RIGHT! /pet peeve rant
I'm gonna guess that they're gonna be like the frog merchant: invincible to any sort of attack, be it explosives, tools, or weapons.
The frog merchant is just annoying. Maybe if the shop shuddered if you tried to break it and the shopkeeper swore at you told you to go away, it would be better.
The human is clearly pumping too much iron. They probably got a glitch seed shipment by mistake. The avians cheeks look a little puffy. I think she's been dipping into the stock. Buy wheat from the apex, get flour if you dont pick it up fast enough? The glitch.... wow. Needs to eat more boltbulbs his neck is looking a bit loose.
