If we can upgrade those cars (or bikes) and place guns on it, monsters and NPCs are gonna hate this !

 

Yup this is definitely a hovercar, still nearly as cool.

 

In the very latest, you can get them from the yard behind the outpost.

 

so far pretty cool! I still miss the tool updates on my new playthrough so I cant progress beyond the pest control quest.. pity. however so far I love the quests for the villagers of my village .
the game is getting to be better and better so far. so keep it up

 

Will there be flying vehicles?

 

I think it is mostly how a vehicle is handled that defines what it is. If this one is handled with a wheel, then it is probably a hover...car(?). if it has a handlebar like our conventional bikes, then yeah, it's a hoverbike.

 

Oh I'm keeping an eye out all right. This is too hype. I really hope what others have mentioned (like the whole driving/shooting thing and seriously enough, the two person couch thing (sometimes you just wanna have a romantic night under the stars)) get addressed too, and perhaps even the whole 'hovercar vs hoverbike' issue. The driving animation for the passenger seems a little odd, but that's why it's in development.

 

next step -> modular vehicule :
in a factory, ou build brick by brick your vehicul, with classic brick, but also move brick, seat brik, fight brick...
and then we can do custom mecha fight like in robocraft or similar game

( it could be a good mod )

 

No post tonight - there will be one tomorrow, though.
One thing that may be of interest: Several of us are working on item descriptions (fixing mistakes, filling in gaps), including writing Novakid item descriptions so you'll soon be able to inspect things like the interstellar gas-bag space cowboy you truly are.

Also, next vehicle in the works: a boat!

What if NPCs can use hoverjeeps with turrets against us? That'll be scary.

 

I'm assume that that will be implemented at the same time as they add the ability to play instruments and sit on chairs at the same time

 

will there be a version of the hover bike that looks like a Harley Davidson?

 

Can you add little submarine to travel underwater (with lava/poison resist)? With torpedo's and its own matter manipulator?
What about race themed hover cars? With race themed stats.
And what I really waiting its a non tech mechas!
