This was my first thought, too! When I make art of these guys it's definitely gonna be based on armadillos.

 

We just need these to be playable. I think that should sum things up lol.

OOOOH, I am so hyped for 1.0! I've litterally been waiting for years!
By the way, love the fact the the devs are pushing EVERYTHING in one update. Yeah, it's taking months to make, simply because it's insanely large, but, once it does come out, Starbound will basically be a brand new game! Can't wait to re-live the feeling I had when exploring the game years ago, when I bought it!

I have moved everything on my Storage Moon and my Floran's ship into storage on a barren planet. My Floran's ship is completely gutted and awaiting the new design. Also, are any other ships being changed?

 

Sorry if this is asking much and I don't know if your working on it but the fluffalo walking animations are broken.

Fennecs are adorable! Bonus point for using a species of fox a lot of people forget even exist instead of the usual red or arctic.

 

Bit of an update, I've spoken with the creator of that mod, he's working on Ship Objects atm, then next is the race creation mouseover text. He also says that it's like Nightly, every day he's working on something different.

The changes will not always be seen, but every night when I upload, I'll have a little change list in the update.
Like when I change ship objects over to Fenerox objects, there won't be any immediate visual difference.

Is talking with someone on Steam discussions, they say its already in a blog post, *looks at blog post from web, it was part of the Ruined Island twitter update* REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Ehh to be honest, looks like ther's going to be a lot of unplayable races for NPC's, and i wouldn't really mind if Avali could make their way trought as non-playables, this race was trought so much since SPORE lost it's popularity... actually i was thinking about making one of my SPORE races more popular but damn, i ould need a lot of artworks to give something more than only tons of lore.

Not this again. Both the maker of that mod and CF said they do NOT fit in.

 

I think for the time being, that and im sure CFs exhausted, focused on getting to 1.0 out the door and i think the implementation of new future playable/non playable races is the last thing theyd probably wanna think about at the time besides it being a labor of love, especially at the speed theyre going

 

Now that I think of it, them Fenerox remind me of... Moths. Yes, seriously. Moths.
