I'm not completely sure of what the system could be, but judging by the floran drawings being the biggest example, is it an age system?
Yes, please! But I still don't quiet understand what are these... More natural NPCs I guess? I definitely would like to see NPCs having original character.
Progression? That must have been a really high tier Molly. Makes me wonder if we player can actually progression like that. Complete quest and story and move on with time, player gets older...then they can retire on their peaceful farm planet.
I really like the sketches and would love to see more of them. By the way.... DID YOU SAY NEW PROGRESSION SYSTEM??????????????????????????????? Does that mean... A Farming Progression Path!!??!?!?!??!? *metallic clank of hope and anticipation(or possibly just the bolt bulb I ate).*
@TheGlitchKing, if there's one thing that sets me off more than sudden but minor RP, it's abuse of punctuation. But I'm just a regular member so you just keep on hyping. I'll be over here hyping along.
The sheer amount of "YES! YES! YES!" in my system right now is too much to be measured. I'd love to see more sketches and concept art.
concept art!!![DOUBLEPOST=1427236049][/DOUBLEPOST]love concept art, how about environmental and world/planets/space concept art too?
I know I'm asking for trouble, as this has been addressed before - but I cannot believe we are still not even stable beta Does anyone else remember this from the FAQ? Q. What if you don't get enough preorders, will the game be unfinished? A.No, the Starbound is going to make it out in 2013 no matter what. But by preordering you help it get here even faster. (http://web.archive.org/web/20130415232522/http://playstarbound.com/store/faq.php) Concept art is great... but its a little light for content so late into development eh? Last time I tried to play, all my gear got lost because on the "stable" branch inventory sizes were arbitrarily changed - no warning for this was given, nor apology afterwards. I played this game with my brother - who has already given with the game, because he feels whilst the experience was ruined by bugs and other nonsense, he has still played too much of the game for it to be fresh when it is complete. When are we going to get the game we have been waiting for, for so long? "When it is done" is really not an acceptable answer to paying customers, especially ones who were promised its completion 2 years ago. Yes, I know there's been so much moaning in the past, but isn't it time to start actually answering the question?
When it's done. Paraphrasing Tiy, which would you rather have? A game rushed to completion or a polished game that took a while longer? And if you want to talk about "paying customers", I am most certainly one and I've certainly gotten more than my moneys worth playing Starbound, even in it's "Early Access" state, so I don't agree with you on whether or not that answer is acceptable.
Stretching the meaning of "a while longer" to absurd proportions imho. And I agree with DigitalizedSoul, no matter how much or little you have played or if you feel you have got "your moneys worth playing Starbound", it's still far from the game we were promised in early 2013. Agreed. Concept art is cool and everything, but instead of teasers, how long till the next stable version with the axes, teleporters, pets, more stable servers, etc.? Are we there yet?
