My only complaint is that when the blue avian guy is holding the white avain chick, her seemingly round head looks really strange to me. And that you deleted my first post, you hypocrite. /kidding
I wonder if there is any intro that they are not going to be completely awesome with. Like, some species where they just say, "You were born on a planet. You grew up. Now you are in space. That is all."
Neat, it doesn't give me the same sense of urgency I had when we saw the Human into. For me it was kinda like, well you get exiled because of religious reasons, yay! Guess it could just be my own bias, while I know I am going to play Avian they are not my favorite race. Plus we already have a good amount of information on the Avians, with the Humans the intro was pretty much the first look at how they are doing, which is not good given all the tentacles.
Suggestions section is very strange. This thread with very vague title "transportation" got 40 votes. What for? It doesn't even suggest anything itself. Why didn't you convert likes into suggestion rating?
This one was even better than i imagined May I request some form of transition between the character creation screen & cutscene?
I dunno, I kinda like seeing the intros. Helps me prepare myself, hearing each race's background story. Gets us a feel of what each race has been though.
The intro looks really interesting, but I thought the Avians were supposed to be a sort of Mayan/Aztec -esque primitive culture and in the WIP intro, they look like something out of a Donald Duck cartoon; bird people in a modern (human) society. From, Introducing the Avians, I know it's only WIP, so maybe not every Avian world became as technologically and socially advanced, or maybe they regressed to their tribalish state after the intro. I just thought it was an odd inconsistency!
The Avian Intro rocks so far guys I wasnt entirely sold on the human one two days ago, but this is pretty interesting, Cant wait to see the rest, either when you post them, or the game comes out .
I think you should add some background music to intros as with Logan's voice alone they are bland. Part of what made Logan's voice work so well in Bastion was that it was set against beautiful music.
is it only me or narrator seems to be speaking a little too fast? i had the impression that he is in hurry and have to tell the story quickly ^^
