What about the idea to add a forth difficulty setting to game, which can be adjusted by the player right inside the game menu. Like checkboxed for "drop an death: x,y,z,....", "pixels lost: x,y"... What do you think?
I think that setting up a public or semi-public server would either have to override those settings with its own or lots of completely different players would suddenly play together, some of them dropping stuff on death and others not. That's gonna be a bit chaotic.
Maybe as a quest bonus for the collect core fragments quest and a follow-up? Like "Use the Teleportation Device to return to the ship."
VERY EXCITING, I always love seeing new things coming for this game, Everyone wants it to be finished blah blah blah, but i think it's about the journey. The background is super exciting, futuristic space city?? with Janitors!!?? WOOOOOO lol
I'm actually like the third. I think @Jonesy mentioned it on page five. Regardless of who mentioned it first, I think it's best if we just sweep this whole incident under the carpet. See what I did there
Nice, i teleported to the protectorate because i'm curious, and I love it. Does that mean that we'll have tutorial worlds for other races too? Also, I guess Outpost quests in nightly are not done yet.
I hope brooms can be used to sweep sand and snow buildup off of tiles. For no real reason, but it'd be cool.
"Starbound’s three difficulty modes some players will prefer a different set-up, so to that end Metadept has made all of the modes moddable." All I've got to say is..it's about time.
