WEAPONS I would like to see a aerial drop attack. If you had a sword you would dash straight down really fast until you hit the ground. hammers would probably slam it into the ground as a shockwave instead of dealing damage midair. If you were on the ground it would make you jump automatically. Also I would love a windup attack for weapons, at least hammers, because my hammer isn't slow enough yet. CREATURES Also, somewhat unrelated, please add more enemy behaviors. Examples: Flees from screen if you use your weapon without hitting it (distance from your attack could vary to make more or less afraid enemies) Creatures that would attack you if you harm another member of their species. enemies that only become aggressive when in groups and flee when alone. Creatures that fight other creatures (could make it so both turn on you if they are interrupted fighting) Enemies that flee when below 10% hp creatures that interact with light (avian creatures more likely to go towards light, nighttime enemies more likely to avoid light) and maybe make passive enemies that dont just stand there and let you one shot them, maybe they should fight back when you start attack instead of when you hit them.
So, I'm guessing spinning your spear will use up energy or something... because as it is that seems pretty OP.
That spear looks to be pretty OP at the moment, unless that special attack uses quite a bit of energy per second, because if it doesnt cost energy, you could just do that infinately and nothing could hurt you unless it has a ranged attack, like say, shooting balls of plasma.
I would love to see some energy waves shooting off laser swords. This is a step in that direction. All is looking fine.
Well this is actually nice i'd say they are on right way to make other weapons more unique and fun. And it works well with spear considering that you have aimed poke and this more 'defensive' as i see it spin to win. Sure hope for decent balance. Only wonder what hammer and axe will get cant wait to see!
This is a cool ability, i'd also suggest for spears, or perhaps pikes/halberds a charge attack, as one would against cavalry. that has a chance to impale an enemy (dragging them with the charge) or inflict a bleed?
Even if the devs said in capitalized bright flashing letters, "ALL UPDATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGES AS THE GAME AND ITS FEATURES ARE STILL IN DEVELOPMENT" before each update people would still not understand.
