Please pleeeease make it so the game remembers where you dragged a window even after you've closed it.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Detach 'Equipment" from the 'Inventory" , make them seperate windows... AND PLEASE BRING BACK SURVIVAL! EX: Hunger, Thirst, Warmth, Drop ALL items on death. KTHNX BYE XO
There can always be options to include or exclude that. I for myself like the fact, that I might die deep underground, but don't drop all the hard earned treasures. But if one want to have more of a challenge, he/she/it should be able to get it (options). As for colors - please keep the color-blind people in mind.
Painting your weapons would also be cool. There could be different themes of paint mix you could find or buy, and maybe the rare ones would add patterns or something like camoflauge[DOUBLEPOST=1426878153][/DOUBLEPOST] Monocles anyone???
but when are you going to make the tooltips stay inside the game window it's a huge QoL improvement for such a simple thing to do
Possibly the creating window Coyne just overlay the various parts and pieces as separate spirits. Then only actually assemble them when you click craft. Something like the character creation window
Colorful gui doesn't seem that meaningful to me. But hey, i sure as heck don't speak for everyone. The axes are great looking. But without the ability to craft then and select the components you want. It's all really so much meaningless fluff. Personally, i never keep any significant amount of weapons around, as there is no reason to. And the last thing on my mind when selecting what to keep and what to toss is esthetics; i usually only keep whatever kicks the most but and don't care about how it looks. I'm reasonably sure this is a going gamer philosophy. Look, i don't mean to make your work feel meaningless. It's just that some serious changed need to happen to crafting before any players can really appreciate your work
Does anyone know if there are plans to make the UI window open where they have been moved to instead of resting to a default location each time? One of those little annoyances.
Just to be clear, there are two philosophies on that point: Yours, which is "wear whatever kills more stuff" which has its own, utilitarian background, and Skyrim's, which is "wear whatever looks the most awesome" which tends to be something for people who embrace having fun as a strategy. I have trouble with this one. ^^
Well, some may derive their entertainment from being as powerful as they can. That's a valid way to have fun. Others favour being as fabulous as possible. Equally valid fun time. See? Both are "fun oriented" ways to play. What's wrong with wanting to give support to those two philosophies? I go for a balance of utility within what's thematically appropriate for the character I'm roleplaying as. That's where I extract most of my fun from (and the reason why I suck at Dark Souls' PvP. If that game gives me the chance to be Guts from Berserk then I'm going to be Guts. Crappy Balder armor and slow-ass ultra greatsword be damned).
If only both could be possible.... I'm an adept of the first one, but it's always nice to have some badass looking armor/weapon. The problem is that this goal can't really be achieved most of the time because we actually need to find the cool weapons that don't do that as much damage as your crafted weapon. It may sound silly, but what if we could use a system similar to the armor? I mean the actual armor which hp and def count under another cool-looking clothe. So we'd have a meh weapon that is really powerful under a weak but cool looking sword. Not really possible but it's as possible as to wear some bikini with an armour under and still be able to see some skin ( see the caveman outfit for girls and you'll understand).
