18th June Progress

Including pop culture references in games is cool and all but I don't think that one of the main story elements should be such a reference. I hope this is just placeholder dialog.

Am I the only one who finds that horse slightly disturbing?

 

Nope. This is cannon now. I haven't been on paying much attention to the updates so far, but now I'm excited about the Bel Air dungeon. Keep it up, devs!

 

You guys are a huge reason I'm going to school soon to learn coding.

 

If I had to guess, I'd say since the Glitch are a very medieval race, they tend to like a trusty steed. A chesty trusty steed. (They just really like horses)

(Might be fun if the horse AI actually had sort of an "insane-personality")

While not a fan of Prince of Bel-Air, im totally fine with it, if its just a few lines here and there.

He's showed you that they have implemented AI into the game, and it is accessible by using the console found in ships. This is new information, so technically that's an update.

 

FURRIES, FURRIES EVERYWHERE.

 

It is a real update. While I have seen the horse AI before, I haven't seen it integrated in what appears to be an updated (and damaged) Glitch ship.

 

Please tell me that we can change AI interfaces. I really -really- really REALLY don't want this in the game. The horse is fucking creepy!!!

 

Horse wife confirmed for spitting the lyrical dope sick rhymes. I will beat-box her gently through the night, as we sail through space as the ultra-fly OG pairing of all eternity.

Aye, we can all agree that this is an update, it's the first time we've really seen a snippet of the A.I. UI. Maybe not a big paragraph of information, but still informative.

Some constructive criticism and comments on the U.I. I like the bezel for the border of the horse's icon, and I like how the wording on the buttons gives the impression that the player is talking to the UI, nice touch.

I do think in the future maybe having different "personality add-ons" or something lore friendly would be good for those who maybe don't like the horse U.I., or for those who just want more customization options.

 

Agreed VERY hard. Not only is the horsehead sick meme bro AI very unsettling, it's extremely out of place to me. Every time I look it makes even less sense as to why it should be the AI of the Glitch ship. Why would a ship designer who is a GLITCH make it look like an organic horse-headed thing? The least you could have done was make it a robotic horse or SOMETHING.
