Hey, so is the first attainable grappling hook going to have that range and easily retractable mid shot type ability? Seems like the one in the video should be saved for a top tier grapple!
It still amazes me that some people are still bitching about the beta not being out yet or about a lack of communication. It's very clear that the game is being worked on day and night, so whining at the devs is pointless and asking for a refund is just stupid. We'll get our money's worth when we get our money's worth, and judging by what we've seen of the game so far, we most certainly will. In the meantime, grappling hooks ftw.
Grappling looks like hella fun. Slingshot! I'm sure the range and pendulum motions will be adjusted (please). Also, that cape is gravity/wind defying!

If my crummy internet wasn't about to hit it's cap i'd watch that second video. Those grappling hooks look amazing though. I love how you guys put so much detail into such simple things. Never seen grappling hooks done that well, not even in games dedicated to them.
Just because someone wants to know someones astro sign doesn't make them "nosy" and its not hard to say what your sign is (unless you don't know what it is)

Hey! I don't post here much but to the awesome Devs: Take your time, I'm excited as hell to see this game come out, but don't rush it, and don't feel pressured about it. I have a strong feeling this game is going to be everything I've dreamed it would be and more. Just do what you have to do, keep up the amazing work you guys are doing, and make a game that is going to survive for years (as compared to some half-baked "here's your game kthx" money grab title). Anyways in short - Keep on kicking ass, you guys are effing amazing, and please don't rush it, relax, you all are my heroes. I can wait for a game that is going to be perfect =) Thanks for all your hard work! Sidenote: I do some small coding in C#, and some robotics coding as well, and I can't even imagine writing the script to a whole game. That is crazy. I will stick to electronics and robotics haha.

I was hoping that the grappling hook would be a more convincing swinging deal, but I suppose it is an early version. My No 1 hook is still the Worms ninja rope.

Just a Question. At 00:13:19 in the second video you see that most shoots go through the monster and you have to nearly hit the center to do damage. Will this stay this way? I hope not because this could be painfull.
