I'm not actually a Yankee, I just wanted to make a joke that happened to involve New York. My personal all-time favorite armor piece has got to be the snow pants. That belt buckle makes me feel like the most macho plant/fish/monkey/robot/bird/human ever.
Oh. My apologies then. Might I suggest to you, fine sir, this fabulous combination of human casual jacket with snow trooper pants for that wonderful Han Solo feel? Any aspiring bounty hunter should know that the first step to a succesful smuggling run is to look absolutely dashing on the comm screen for those pesky imperial checkpoints...
I know, right? Although I prefer to take whatever racial armor I have available that makes me look the most buff. I find that a black-colored beginning Hylotl shirt (the one with armbands) looks amazing for that purpose, and, if I recall correctly, so does the puddle chestplate. EDIT: As you haven't responded yet, I can only assume that you are playing Starbound attempting to procure the materials mentioned above.

Ok, I'm throwing my two cents here again. I love the design of the first and sixth armors, but the rest... Well, they could use some variety, because, for example, the hats on the first and second armors look the same. Also, Novakids's faces should be uncovered for most armor sets since a big part of their charisma lies there. Anyways, I understand that these armor sets are still in the works and Chucklefish's artists are highly talented and will know how to work everything out.
I give you the first point. They are the same, and it's even more confusing as I thought that metal thing on the hat was a badge, and the second armour is called "bandit". The glyph on their faces however is where their consciousness lies. It's what molds their physical forms (their humanoid form I mean, otherwise they would be a lump sack of plasma). It's kind of a big problem for them if that gets damaged so covering that up makes sense to me. It's like how helmets and torsos are usually the most fortified parts of human armour.

Apes - Always rude, aggressive - so in-game they are millitary, assasins, etc. Glitch - bugged Tehcnology so they live in Castle Age Avian - High born, free, birds, light and religious - they have all that meets their theme... Tombs, crystals and like Maya outfit... Human - Human.... Floran also - Floran... They all meet their theme and those themes are idealy picked... Novakid... light, something elemental... - cowboys - may i ask wtf?
