No Guys this was the mech horse? I knew I remembered a mech horse in this. I'm thinking the speed, strength etc are what chucklefish are implementing next for tech items. Looks like Ive just had a cool idea for my character and I know what to name my home planet now
The magic about art is that it only needs to stimulate your mind enough to objectify an recognize something. (o_ o) <---- Much like this gentleman right here. He's got no ears, eyebrows, nose, hair, pupils, etc. However he has enough information to represent a human face and bring forth that image. So bottom line, the tail's not necessary.
The point about no tail being that it would hinder whatever movement that the devs are creating for the model. Whether it's an enemy, a mount, whatever. A 40lb hunk of stiff, immovable metal is going to get in the way of attacking, walking, pulling a plow, etc. Cute ears, cute mouth, menacing glowing eyes, don't hinder function. I took it from an "If I were building a horse robot, what kind of tail would I want? Well, wire whips with stinging glowing spines on the end, of course! Not that random piece of slag..." But then, the pixilated format doesn't really lend itself to a nest of delicate wires... So off with the tail! P.S. The spell-check on this forum says pixilated is incorrect. WRONG, sir, WRONG.
Actually pixilated has an entirely different definition than what you used it for. I think you meant pixelated. Which... also is spell checked as incorrect... xD
Uses for Tails: 1] Unit recharge dock 2] Emergency leg part storage unit 3] Electrical redundancy system 4] Hydraulic redundancy system 5] Some other redundancy, backup, spare, or random thing that someone can freaking come up with to get a @*% tail on the freaking horses, THEY ARE SO CUTE Luv you guys ^_^
Yes, all of these things! But what materials would said tail be created from? A solid metal encasement? Electric wire and insulation material? Articulated, overlaying metal plates? AN INTELLIGENT BALL OF GLOWING GAS?! I think I may faint from a rush of blood to the head when Beta is live. ^^

Mix and matched mech sprites would be pretty cool though. Like who wouldn't want a dog-headed pegasus mech with rattle-snake tail?
This horse was clearly made for me. I'm native American, I grew up with an American Eskimo dog, and I happen to be naked...wow. It's all in the clues.
