    is it just me or did the ore-smelting disappear? Like the furnace and the metalwork station's interfaces are empty... soo help pls i have a buttload of unsmelted ores :wot:

    Ore-smelting isn't gone, it's just that you have to use a different version of the furnace now, since the recipes have been moved. In singleplayer on admin mode (/admin), try /spawnitem craftingfurnace for the new model. Alternatively, craft one using the Inventor's Table which should be listed in your regular empty-handed crafting menu.

    Note that you will have to upgrade the furnace to smelt more complex metals, using the button at the top of the furnace UI. In admin mode, it will not require resources to upgrade, so make sure to come out of admin mode if you are in it and wish to pay the regular upgrade cost.
    I'm assuming, by the way, that you're using nightly. ;D

    I wonder if scanning an object and reprinting it is considered theft of intellectual property due to copying a design in the starbound universe. That would make us all pirates. SPACE PIRATES!

    Still exploring in nightly, I like some of the stuff they've added. I gonna remark some stuff, anyone with a counter to it, let me know if i've missed something.

    • Currently can't upgrade my matter manipulator, though ive been finding an abundance of MM components everywhere
    • Speaking upgrade, because i can't, i can't get the liquid collection ability, so i'm kind of stunted at the moment
    • This is just my old ways, feels weird seeing all the old items with the requirements and named with steel, are now just called tungsten. I figured tungsten would of just replaced durasteel as the strongest "pure" ore, and durasteel would be like a polymetal of titanium or steel and tungsten (just a thought, a lot of metals to use if you want to extend the tiers more)
    • Although i like the extended requirements for building items, armor, and weapons, some of these recipes like say, clothes are a little high for cotton and cloth, just a little, felt myself having to make a farm just to craft a cool jacket.
    • kinda can see some peoples complaints on the connect damage with enemies, i can see why its a bit frustrating, but its just a different feel from combat, especially for us melee oriented players.
    • I'm liking the upgrades on the crafting tables, pretty cool. One question was the cooking table getting any upgrades too, i wouldn't say it would need it, but maybe something like an upgrade that extends its craft for more exotic foods and maybe even an upgrade that adds a cooking function aka stove so we don't need stuff like the camp fire
    • the change to the scanner, thats awesome, i wasn't sure though but does it skin construction blocks as well?
    • I saw the mixes in the anvil for weapons ( i was human so i saw iron and tungsten based weapons) though i was confused why they were mixed up like this, like two weapons per metal tier.
    • THANK YOU for allow us to craft bombs, molatovs, and such, any chance we can get grenades for combat and demo packs for precision mining on hard stone (IE direstone, obsidian, etc)
    • This was interesting, I see that you made the replicator have the ability to add and remove add ons of the accelerator, seperator, and manipulator paths. Very nice. Though one idea i had about that, is to have them as add ons that you can install on the replicator, but it s permenant, however its represented by lights on the the replicator to either indicate what mode its currently on, or what modes are available. In fact, why not set tabs in the items menu between the 3, that way players can save space and having to move the modules back and forth.
    • I know this is nitpicky, just kind of find it weird finding recipes for items i can craft in the inventor table rather than the furniture (Ex. lunar base lamp/bed/door etc)
    • I'm not complaining on this, but i do find it a little annoying with enemies that can phase through your houses and attack you and tenants. maybe some type shielding for homes in future or something, if not its alright, just neeed to avoid planets with those types of enemies.
    • some of the quest feel a little broken, but hey, thats nightly
    • The requirements for some things in the field, i'm starting to understand more. Because the amount of crafting tables you have, the resources you need and the abundance of it, especially from enemies, means you need to establish a base. You need have a base at multiple planets just to keep up with demand.

    I've probably have more, but i am liking what i'm seeing, keep up the good work CF

    Oh, that reminds me.

    Currently, being able to print from the 3D Printer is directly tied to learning any recipes for an object and vice-versa. Will that be changing with this update? I'd hope so.

    Knew i was missing something, but wait, doesn't this mean we don't need to use pixels to scan in objects now?

    So I see on nightly that pets work again with capture pods but when they die and you release them the act like there fainted and spawn back in the pod. How do we heal it? Sorry if this is the wrong place please direct me.

    I'm really interested in the method of progression through growing crops, would be interesting to see the option to create new crop types by mixing two plant types together as an option with it.
