Please refrain from making one-word posts. They're classified as spam under forum rules, so aim for at least a sentence. The devs don't give out ETAs very far in advance anymore. Keep an eye on the developer updates, and you'll know when it happens. In your Steam library, go to the properties of Starbound (Unstable) and look for the Betas tab. You can switch from the Unstable branch to Nightly there, but be aware of what you're in for. It's a broken experience meant to experience and test new content, not to play normally. On a side note, please don't double-post.
I'm pretty sure he's talking about the robot thing that you had to suck out innocent creature's brains to make. It got replaced with the penguin robot boss, which is a bummer, cause now there's no more brain sucking.
I remember finding this a month back or so while playing on nightly. Can't wait for the release. So many things look good (I am just bummed as I have no farming career planned anymore thanks to loss of stacking).

I'm immediately struck by the mention of "dubloons", i.e., a new additional quest item rather than cold Pixel currency, i.e., not at all different than the quests for "helping people" other than being called different. If they're going to implement crew hiring for cash, then I hope you can actually pay cash for hiring crew, rather than going through any intermediary steps. Otherwise it's just a giant fart in the face of why we wanted to be able to hire crew for money in the first place. ;-) Don't you mean "pun down rub"?
I can totally see this being played up on stage in a smoke filled dive bar on some far flung world. Needs to be made into an ABC file so we can play it in game
I don't know how to make ABC files sorry but I will agree that it's a very catchy song and I'm sure someone will probably do it if I can't
