Seek out this shady salesman if you're in the market for rare and powerful weapons! You'll want to bring lots of pixels, though. We're firmly in the polishing-up phase now! This week we've added some more useful codexes to start of the game, and we're making a lot of improvements to the UI. Looking forward to showing you more shiny new stuff next week. He has a viking hat... (Has post-trauma flashback to getting stuck with a cursed -9 dwarvish helm (Corroded)...) Seriously liking the improvements you've been doing. Is there any chance that we'll be able to create custom weapons in game soon by destroying random-gen weapons for a chance to get parts for use in creating weapons of our own?
Finally! More weapons! But the question is, will it just fill up your ship with more guns and swords? Or will you be able to trade in your usually obsolete weapons that we find in droves. I don't need friends...I have knives.... I'm out of Knives....
I'm now gonna update my Penguin-Tank Profile sprite to have a little viking helmet. Also, YES!!! MOAR PENGUINS. DEW IT. GEH. On a more serious not I'm happy to see a place to buy high tier weapons, especially when you`re grinding for hours but find a super powerful spoon or something like that. Its annoying.With this place I can finally find an epic sword to help me. Speaking of swords, you guys should add more stuff centered around shields. Did it. My penguin is now wearing the viking hat, ripped pixel by pixel off of the gif and onto my profile.
Ni! Don`t insults the penguins nor how serious this game is. They have been a part of starbound since the very beginning. Ive been following this game forever, and a lot has changed. But the one thing that has always remained a constant in this game, it has been the penguins. They have provided a source of slight comic relief while remaining a fresh and sometimes difficult enemy. If you wish to go insult the proud race of penguins go elsewhere. This game may not be the most serious, but its always been smart enough not to do over the top things. Besides, there are so many jokes and Easter eggs built into each and every item in the game that they would pretty much have to change the description of thousands of items to be "serious". ooo another shady character... Oh wait it's just the penguin suit making it look like it is in shade... Must be the lighting. Regardless that is a fine addition, and I only have one question... What is that hat the main character is wearing in the pic? Not seen that one before.
Upon looking at the penguin armorer I image that you can dump all your found surplus weapons to him under the counter, and occasionally he will give you back powerful single-use explosives, mines, grenades, mini nukes, etc. That would be sweet. It would create some sort of 'weapons economy' / arms dealer black market.
I need it. I need the update, but I don't want to ask for a release date >_> (I heard last time was a catastrophe)...
