ArmA 3 completed its development cycle. Starbound has not. Just enjoy the former while waiting for the latter. Australian summer goes from December to February.
Seriously? I hope you being sarcastic cuz I am so fed up with you spoiled kids demanding a BETA. Get off the forums or wait like everybody else.
That's my guess, too. I'm gonna totally ninja rope a chicken and drag it around everywhere. Maybe I can hang from it as it flutters down to avoid fall damage...
This message is direct towards all replies to this message: He might be a bit overreacting, but no one can contest that Chucklefish has definitely underestimated the amount of work in design decisions. Me as a starting programmer at a random mid class university already know that you cant really put a release date on a game unless you have about 80% of the features completed, and even then you have to plan that you might get stuck at some points. even though, i cant blame them for not wanting to release beta in a semi-uncompleted stage. making a feature heavy game like this one takes a lot of time. but they should have layed off with the Pre-Order and claims about beta dates. dont hate me please!!
Can you... can you actually do that? Can you object to objects? Great updates, yummie chickens, and fresh coffee.. life is good!
Opens http://endlessvideo.com/watch?v=Aq-be7Y_yyY in a seperate tab for background noise and just stares at the gif. If you stare enough at the pic listening to it, you could start to swear their tiny pixelated beaks are actually opening at the clucking
I... had not considered this... chicken-based aerial transportation. Must keep it in mind when I have access to beta.
The only problem I have with farming in Minecraft, is that so many mods require you to do so. I loath any crafting recipe that requires feathers. With the chickens, are you going to resist the obligatory Zelda reference? I'm not sure if I want you to resist it, or give in...
Personally if I don't have a playable product by 2013, ill be getting a refund. And honestly, if they cant produce something by the end of 2013, They should stop estimating altogether. But even if it ends up being shelled out in December- sure they kept their word, Yet its still disgusting.
Ok well everyone is different, does not really bother me because indy games have done this many times before. You have to right to want a refund if you want it's a free worldtry after all. I agree they would have been better of not making a release date till they were sure, even then people would still complain about no release date.
