1.1 Beta Thread

Summary of Issue: Star quality duck eggs do not yield star quality duck mayo. It only gives regular duck mayo.

Expected Behavior: Put a gold star duck egg in the mayonnaise maker for gold star duck mayo!

Actual behavior: Putting a starred duck egg in the mayonnaise maker does not affect the quality of mayo. No matter what the star, out will pop regular quality mayo.

Steps for Reproduction: Put a star quality duck egg in a mayonnaise maker and collect the mayo.

Operating System: Windows 10

 

Mine has always been like this...was so glad when I found a glow ring.

 

It is not intended to get a star quality in the first place-- it is Botanist perk that not working as intended (turning foraging item golden-star upon picking up, but instead turning EVERY item you pick up...)

 

Huh, I didn't know that. I don't even have the botanist perk, which makes it even weirder.

 

seem like the game still mistreating all item placed on ground as foraging items... thus you randomly get star'd item as well

 

Summary of issue: Hair sticks out of Pierre's stand during Egg Festival.

Expected Behavior: Hair doesn't stick out.

Actual Behavior: Hair sticks out, as described in the picture.

Steps for Reproduction: Talk to Pierre during Egg Festival.

What Operating System are you using: Windows 10.

 

Exact same problem here, Windows 10, joja form complete, cutscene does not trigger.

I completed a community center bundle before completing the rest of the quest with Joja, if relevant? I assume that this is not meant to prevent us from getting the new quest content and buildings.

 

Summary of issue: Random light at the left side of the beach.

Expected Behavior: No light at the left side of the beach.

Actual Behavior: There is a Random light at the left side of the beach.

Steps for Reproduction: Go to the left side of the beach late at night

What Operating System are you using: Windows 10 Anniversary Edition 64 Bit

 

How could that possible as you decided to join the JojaCrop membership and still able to do community bundles?
(as far as I know, the community center will get re-innovate the next day after the sign up)
I don't think this is fair if you decided to go Joja path only to know you get no access to all new magic structures at all...

 

This may be a stupid question but if we decide to play the beta version before the official release tomorrow, will the save file remain? I want to start a totally new file due to the new farm maps but I don't want to have to re-re-start for the official version tomorrow... at the same time, I'm impatient and want to play now... what do?

 

So, it says the new quest should be available when you complete either of the arcs to restore town functions. Now, does this mean you need to have devoted to one route entirely? I swapped to JoJa for the last town repair because i cant fish to save my life. Since i didnt fully do one route, i didnt get either of the achievements AND going into the railroad didnt activate the quest. Is this supposed to be this way?

Expected Behavior: No typo

Actual Behavior: Alex uses the world 'my' instead of 'me'(See picture)

You can do some community center bundles before you buy a Joja membership, but not the other way around.

Exactly what I'm wondering! I won't mind if not getting the magic buildings if this is intentional, of course, I'm just reporting it as a bug because it seems like it maybe/probably was just overlooked.

 

Well, just to prove it should be what I have as "Expected Behavior", I opted out of the Beta for a moment, to go back to 1.07, and loaded a backup that I had made. I went to the closest "dark" place, with a torch - which was the Bus Tunnel, and took a Screenshot inside, with no glow rings on me, and the Torch in my hands.

Version 1.07 - The torch is in my hands, and acting as a light source.

This is the shot I took from v1.1 Beta(same thing, only it's night time, and on my Farm):

Version 1.1 Beta - There is a torch in my hands, but is not acting as a light source, as it was before. The torch next to the chest was placed, and that seems to be the only way it works as a light source now.

EDIT OK, now I am confused. Because now I went back to the beta, but this time I went into the Bus Tunnel again, with torch in hand, and it is glowing as a light source... So now it seems that it is only working in certain places, and not everywhere...

 

You can go on continue your beta save file in released version

 

And also, I have to thank @ConcernedApe for all the effort he did for this amazing game for all of us and also doing update and troubleshooting.

I never got into the Beta (not enough time), and Get the torch issue occasionally, so it isn't new for this beta.

 

OK back to 1.07 again, and this time it's a picture on the Farm. So NOW I know I'm not crazy - So in this shot, on the left is a Torch that I placed down. On the Right, I am standing with a Torch in my hands, again with no Glow Ring, and it's glowing as a light source with the same radius as the one that is placed down:

I've been holding off on playing any more to find any more bugs until the next version drops, because I don't want to be tempted with my Casks again.

I have some respect for the game.

 

Summary of issue: There's a rock on top of the bottom-left pond on the Wilderness Farm. I can still reach it, luckily

Expected Behavior: Well, rocks not floating above water.

Actual Behavior: A rock is floating on the water.

Steps for Reproduction: Make a new Wilderness Farm, I guess.

What Operating System are you using: Windows 10 64-bit.
