I also just took a quick run-around to see if it might be that the graphical bug was particular to just the Hill-Top farm or not and I found two other cases almost immediately, one spot in the Wilderness farm, and one spot in the park just above town [ I could more extensively map out all locations that do this, but in case it's just a quick tile issue I'll refrain for now ] This was the only tile in the entirety of the Wilderness farm which I found clipping issues with. Only the center tile of those three had any issues with clipping. I did not fully explore the entire park area for other instances.
While this may be a glitch, I would love it to pieces if I could have individual relationships with the junimos. They're so adorable!
Summary of Issue: Various issues in regards to spouse jealousy and random relationship point dropping. I am currently married to Shane, if it helps to mention. Expected Beahvior: Giving gifts to villagers on their birthdays should not make your spouse jealous, and their relationship points with you should not drop out of seemingly nowhere, and for no reason. Actual Behavior: So I gave the Wizard a birthday present, right? While Shane did not comment on me 'secretly giving the Wizard a present' the day of, the next day, he was in bed all day, and would get angry whenever I spoke to him. That morning he told to to 'make my own breakfast' with an annoyed expression. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I'm not mistaken, that was classic jealous spouse behavior pre- 1.1. I'm also having problems where my relationship points with Shane will drop out of seemingly nowhere, often from 13 to 11. The last time it happened, I had not given a villager a gift outside of their birthday recently, and I always gave Shane a gift every other day and made sure to give him a kiss every morning and night. There should be no reason for that happening. Steps for Reproduction: Marry Shane and keep an eye on your relationship points for random drops. Give villagers gifts on their birthdays. It happened to me when I gave the Wizard a gift for his birthday. Operating System: Windows 10 Now, I have also noticed that my relationship with Shane appears to drop when I give Krobus or the Dwarf gifts. Should that be happening? If it should, it really makes not sense. As far as I can tell, no other villagers aside from the Wizard should know that they even exist, let alone that I'm giving them presents.
Summary of Issue: After divorcing Maru, speaking with her when she is at the hospital yields a completely white profile picture, except for a crude frowny face. Expected Behavior: Maru has a profile picture when angry at the hospital. Actual Behavior: Maru has a white picture with only eye and mouth details. Steps to Reproduce: Divorce Maru and then speak with her at the hospital.
Summary of Issue: I cannot select buildings to move or demolish. I can hover over them and they'll turn green or red, but I cannot click on or move them. Expected Behavior: The ability to move or demolish buildings with no problems. Actual Behavior: An inability to select buildings in order to move or demolish them. I can hover over them and they'll turn red or green, but I cannot select them. I click and I click and nothing happens. Steps for Reproduction: Attempt to move or demolish buildings. Operating System: Windows 10.
This is noted in the Wiki, but you can do this: Put the Dinosaur Egg into the Incubator in your Coop, and it will hatch out a Dinosaur - which will lay more Dinosaur Eggs.
Just came here to report this bug but I have no idea how to reproduce it, just happened to me, the view was locked to the donation screen with the red grid on the tables but my inventory disappeared and I could slowly move the view around, only way to get out of the glitch was to restart the game.
Haha yeah I've got a dinosaur myself that I hatched, but my concern is that the eggs lose value when you make them into mayonnaise as they only become basic mayonnaise from chickens, and so while the value of the egg itself is higher than average, there's nothing more you can do with it than sell it as-is, or make more dinosaurs, which is a lengthy process, and the dinosaurs themselves hardly sell for anything at all, so it's just in a really awkward state that makes it far less rewarding to have them beyond aesthetics compared to other animals.
Summary of issue: You can place casks/objects on the stairs in the cellar, and if placed at the very top, you may get trapped on the stairs unable to remove the item Expected Behavior: Not be able to place objects on the stairs in the cellar Actual Behavior: Are able to place objects on the stairs in the cellar Steps for Reproduction: place objects at the top of the steps in the cellar then leave and come back and you will get stuck on top of them, having to wait out the day or use return staff/teleportation items to get out. What Operating System are you using: Windows 10
Yeah this fact is also on the Wiki Page of the Dinosaur Egg, under the Trivia section: "Dinosaur Egg can be put in a Mayonnaise Machine to yield gold quality mayonnaise, but it is not ideal as a Dinosaur Egg sells for 350g, while gold quality mayonnaise will only sell for 225g." I agree though - if they are able to be created as Produce, there should be more to do with them, or at least create it's own unique Mayo like the Duck Eggs do, and the Void Eggs do now, that's at least worth more than the egg is by itself.
This has been happening to me as well with Penny, even before 1.1. Even if the characters I'm gifting to aren't marriageable, and it takes a few days after the present before my relationship drops, with no dialogue hinting she thinks I'm cheating. It even happens when I don't give anyone else presents and isolate myself from the townspeople except for Penny, and give her as many presents as I can and also talk to her and give her several kisses throughout the day. I thought it was normal gameplay!
Summary of Issue: Willy is still "unknown" if you skip the cutscene where he gives you the Bamboo Pole Expected Behavior: You know Willy, and the quest counts it as such after the cutscene where he gives you the Bamboo Pole Actual Behavior: It acts as if you never met him, yet gives you the Pole Steps for reproduction: Go to the beach before 5:00 pm to receive the Pole as normal, and use the in game "skip" button to skip the cutscene Operating system: Windows 10
Summary of issue: NPC's not giving you introduction text first time you talk to them, but still showing that you've met them Expected Behavior: NPC's introduce themselves the first time you talk (as they did before the 1.1 update) and then they show up as being met Actual Behavior: They say whatever they normally would in that situation, and still show up as having been talked to. For example, Jas just made comments about her jump rope, not acknowledging me, but then still showed up as being met. Even odder, Haley, while taking pictures, was too busy to talk to me, but still counted as me meeting her. Steps for Reproduction: Make new save file (forest farm, skipped intro), go to forest area on first day and talk to Jas and Haley while they are doing their actions (jumprope or picture-taking) What Operating System are you using: Mac OS X 10.11
Summary of issue: Emily didn't show up for her 10 heart scene. Expected Behavior: I will meet Emily in the secret forest after 10 pm for her ten heart scene. Actual Behavior: I enter the forest without any cutscene playing. Steps for Reproduction: Recieve Emily's letter in the mailbox and wait until 10: 10 pm to enter the secret forest and expect Emily to be there, except she won't be. What Operating System are you using: 8.1
Summary of issue: The Torch no longer lights up the area around you when you carry it in your hands, if it is dark. Expected Behavior: The Torch should light up a small area around you, similar to that of a single Glow Ring, if the area is dark. Actual Behavior: The Torch will not light up the area unless it is placed down. Steps for Reproduction: Place a Torch in the Active Toolbar Slot, so that it is in your hands. What Operating System are you using: Windows 7 x64
Just following up, I finally got a save with this bug. Here you can see the 4th crop of first row is delayed by one stage and already watered as soon as i leave the house: I tried loading the previous day and simply watering everything and just going to sleep to check if it would happen again, it did not so it must be related to something I did on regular play previous day. If I recall correctly, all the activities I did on previous day were: Extend fenced area for the extra 30 spring crops at the bottom, till, plant, fell some 10 trees and catch some 10 fishes. Log folder didn't have any new files related to that save. Haven't pinpointed yet exactly what is causing it, if it will help I included the save files with the bug.
Summary of issue: Walk animation glitch after eating sap if you hold down a directional key while eating sap. Expected behavior: Your character walks as normal even if you hold down a directional key while eating sap. Actual behavior: Your character slides with no animation, you can still control it, however, and the footstep sound repeats rapidly. This continues so long as you are continuously holding down a directional key. Steps for reproduction: Eat sap, then, while the nausea animation is playing, hold down a directional key, which I did to start walking immediately after the animation finished, and hold it down through the animation. Operating system: Windows 10
