1.0 Quest for floran artifact bug.

Either this is a bug, or I'm missing something.
I started my game as a floran, got the quest to find the floran artifact and then proceeded to identify the objects in multiple floran villages, after scanning EVERY OBJECT in two villages the quest will still not complete. Am I simply just unlucky and not finding certain scannables or is this a bug?

 

You're just unlucky, I need to scan one more thing as well so I'm looking for more floran settlements/dungeons.

 

Do your best to explore other planets you'll come across it all eventually, it took me a while to research what was wrong. I had the same problem as you, but you will find more dungeons out there. It took me 2 villages and one dungeon to get it all.

 

I believe there's one Floran item that doesn't spawn in the villages. You'll probably need to find one of the Floran Hunting Pits. At some point, someone will no doubt make a list of all the items you need to scan for the missions.

 

I doubt that's the case. Earlier tonight I had a Glitch character receiving the Floran quests, did found a Floran village in a forest (above ground, friendly, definitely not a hunting pit or near a hunting pit), scanning about half to 2/3 of the village, and completed it.

It could just be an exception to the rule, but I don't think scanning the hunting pit is required going by that one experience.

Have you talked to the Floran npcs? Some of them do give the scanning quest updates too.

 

Really? Neat. That should help me with the Hylotols then. I guess tonight, I'll be getting myself geared up for a trip to the library, ha ha! (After I finish saving up for that Ronin mech that's 30800 pixels in the XS Mechs mod, hee hee.)
