Let's say that you're sick. They give you a candy, but in a look of medicine. They make you eat it. And then they say '' You will be cured because of that medicine. '' And the person who ate that candy things that: '' I will be cured because of that medicine! '' And he gets cured. But it's because that he thought of that way. If he knew that it was a candy, he wouldn't be cured.

 

but music legit stimulates your brain

 

But music does affect mood and disposition. It's not a placebo, like those stupid Balance Bands or Energy Bands. It's a stimuli for release of chemicals. Like when you listen to music you like, it releases endorphins. Calming music can put you to sleep, while energetic music can make you want to dance.

But seriously, I call Balance Bands Tard-Detectors, because only morons wear them.

That's it, if you can't grasp that idea then I can't have a decent conversation with you, as you'd assume everything you say is true without even the slightest notion of thinking, "Gee, I have no idea what I'm talking about, maybe I shouldn't say anything about that particular topic, or perhaps I should look into it to further said topic, or maybe even ask about more info on it and actually learn something." But doesn't positive thinking have an effect on treatments. Like if two people are given a legit treatment, and one believes strongly in it, and the other thinks it's a crock of shit, won't the positive thinker do better? Especially in terms of things like music, or therapy, or physio, etc.
