So, I assume that we are done with the RP, considering nobody has really posted in forever. I was listening to the Gary Jules cover of Mad World and it reminded me if it for some reason.

I'm writing up a report for music from the 1950's and 60's, here's a sample of something I wrote:

R&B, or Rhythm & Blues also appeared, which later, combined with other various genres spawned what is largely known as Rock & Roll. This would later make the electric guitar popular, with musical acts like Chuck Berry and Scotty Moore, Rock & Roll introduced guitar solos, akin to improvisation seen in Hard Bop. This new style of music was directed towards teens, and like all generations, the parents were confused with the new genre, they saw it as offensive and not “good music” a modern comparison could be made about hip-hop and dubstep.
