The main problem is that alot of people that that WERE hyped for starbound were uninterested in it being Beta and are.. what do we call it? thats right. Lurking until the official version comes out. and WTH am I doing up at 2: 30 at night? xD

EDIT: And those who applied after the Beta release stuck around for a day or two the dissappeared

EDIT 2: I personnaly believe (but have no proof of) that this happened

Oh.. so it would be more helpful to advertise Starbound out in general.

I was one of those people until I was able to afford Starbound, then I returned, maybe that's the cause for most of the others who waited and watched the forums and blog?
Oh, and if we paid for Beta, will the official release be free for those who paid already?

 

Technically you didn't buy Beta, you bought the game for when its fully released, AS A BONUS those who bought the game received Beta access

I will admit I was lurking around for a few months in a similar situation until i could afford STarbound.. TO hell with it, there are times when you can still find me lurking! Anyways, i'm sure you'll get a warm welcome when the rest of the crew wakes up! (Most if not all the crew should be asleep right about now)
