I have been playing the online of mariokart 8 for about an hour and a half tonight, and I have lost 6 first place finishes to blue shells fired from the person in 12th place

 

and when I get a blue shell myself I groan, coz it's useless to me. if im in 9th place I dont want a blue shell, I want a gold mushroom or a star or something
