Intentions: Looking for a community of people who like the game as much as I do.
Exp: Played Terraria and Minecraft extensively, also played Wurm Online and countless other MMO's. Also co-hosted a Terraria server a whole back.

Edit: I understand this is a little vague, so I want to let you know that I'd like to join this server specifically because you've impressed me via your first post. It's not over the top or too little. You put some effort in to it and have also shown interest in expanding the community some day, I would like to be a part of that if that's fine with you.

 

My Character name is Aquias. The main thing I like to do in Starbound (Terraria and minecraft as well) is build. I like to play peacefully. I am hoping to play on a server where I can build cities with other players and not have to worry about people destroying what I build. If this server is like that I would love to play with everyone.

Hey. My character name is Shay, and I started playing this game today after a huge wait, and I think it's positively amazing. (I spent three hours spelunking and didn't even notice )
My intentions of joining your server are simply to have fun, socialize, and work together with people. Single player is great and all, but multiplayer is where the real magic happens.
I started playing sandbox games like this one when Minecraft first came out. And no, I'm not talking about beta. I was there in Infdev. And of course I've had my fair share of Terraria as well.
I've only logged about five hours into Starbound, but for once I'm playing a game at my own pace and not using a wiki every time I get stuck. And it's a really unique experience for me, and I love it!
But I would also love to be able to play the game with other people, so just think about it.

Exp: Years of experience with Minecraft (since Alpha) and Terraria. I often like creating fun and silly themed builds.

There really is much else to say. I have experience moderating, if that is any reassurance.

 

Server is back up. I installed some mods to allow me to modify water. I'm going to be working on turning the land under spawn into an ocean biome and anyone who is on spawn while I'm using the item may crash. Avoid spawn while this construction takes place. It'll start tomorrow (saturday) around 3 in the afternoon and last about 2-3 hours. Just try to avoid the spawn planet til after that.
