It was actually fixed a couple minutes ago, the patch just went live.
Make them in the wiring station with a Circuit Board and a Laser Diode. The are fairly useless as they take 2-3 hits to kill level one monsters.

Air-Fish is probably result of low-grav, and there is a known bug in which playing music on any instrument will crash the game.
