After some playtesting decided that I was only happy with Knight Slam, and got some feedback with similar conclusions. Renamed the RPG Second and Third Ability keys in config to RPG Ability Modifier and RPG Ability Activation respectively and mapped the abilities modified in version 1 (except Knight Slam) to Modifier + Activation.
Explorer Drill Sphere still functions the same but will not transform if Ability Modifier is being held down. This will instead toggle your Dash/Sprint mode. Pressing Ability Activation without Modifier transforms.
