INTRODUCTION
===============================================================================
Starbound meets The Amory Wars (a graphical novel series by Claudio Sanchez)! This mod includes useful back items themed with The Amory Wars story. This adds useful items to the back of your character. They are tiered and each tier gets progressively more expensive.

This mod was discontinued by the first mod author and i hope to be able to edit it and get it alot more balanced soon! Ill be updating this in the future.


INSTALLATION
===============================================================================
Unzip the downloaded .zip file, and place the folder in your .\Starbound\giraffe_storage\mods\ directory. If you have a previous version of the mod installed already, please delete the previous version to prevent conflicts and errors.

Before you install this mod (including using a updated version), it may be a good idea to backup your character saves


UNINSTALLATION
===============================================================================
If you want to uninstall the mod, please remove all items related to the mod from your characters. This includes all items related to the mod from your equip, inventory, hot bar, and storage. After that, simply delete the folder from your mods directory, and you're done.

If you don't remove all the items and delete the folder, your character won't be deleted, but you won't be able to access your characters that have any of the mod items left behind (a simple fix would be to reinstall the mod, delete the remaining items, and then delete the folder for this mod).


COMPATIBILITY
===============================================================================
This mod uses it's own assets (excluding certain crafting ingredients and certain crafting station interface graphics), so it should be compatible with all mods.

This mod also uses custom lighting effects for a bigger glow radius, so if you're using a using a mod that alters the way lighting works (specifically spreadMaxObstacle), it may conflict with each other. To fix this, simply delete the lighting.config.patch file located in this mod's base file directory, and you should be set.

Going online with this modification won't cause any crashes. However, due to the custom buffs, you will be invisible to anybody else online that does not have this mod installed. To become visible to those people, simply unequip any Emblem before you go online (special thanks to Rider91 for finding this out).


MOD CUSTOMIZATION

As of v0.5.5, the guide is outdated. I plan to fix this in the near future.
Please note that because the guide is indeed outdated, the current values are quite different from previous versions. The good news is that the legend still holds true for some files, and you'll still be able to edit the files to how you want them (going based on the old file names).
To install, simply place the folder in .\Starbound\giraffe_storage\mods\The Amorybound Wars vX.X.X\ directory and replace the files it asks you to overwrite with.

CRAFTING STATION
===============================================================================
A seemingly ordinary book on a stand. It is far from logical, but you are able to craft Emblem from this book, using the power of creativity. You can craft The Writer's Book through the default crafting interface, the default hotkey for this is the 'C' key.

BOTTLED LIQUIDS

The Emblems are able to adapt to the properties of these liquids, providing resistance. Higher tiers of Emblems will automatically adapt to certain liquids permanently.

    • 10 Oil
    • 1 Empty Bottle

• Bottled Poison
  • Items Needed To Craft:
    • 40 Pixels
    • 10 Poison
    • 1 Empty Bottle

    • 60 Pixels
    • 10 Lava
    • 1 Empty Bottle

EMBLEM BASES

Each Emblem need a Emblem Base to exist, you can craft these Emblem Bases within The Writer's Book. Each tier of Emblem requires the corresponding Emblem Base tier.

    • 8 Silver Bars
