Outdated Star Classes 1.01

More realistic planet-star placement.

  1. ohgoditburns
Replaces Fiery etc. with Harvard Stellar Classes and places hot (tier6) planets near stars, and cold (tier5) farther from stars.

Also adds rare red giants (no planets) and binary stars.

Note that this no longer ensures a desert planet in the starting system, so acquiring oil may be an issue for normal progression.

I used to love this mod, But ever since spirited giraffe the mod doesn't work at all. When you start up a character (even after deleting all your characters, deleting / reseting the universe) it just crashes it. Sad :/ Loved this mod. I'll change my score once this is fixed.

Love the idea of this, but sadly I get an error when trying to run this mod, even without any other mods :(

love the idea, would love to see stars with of different sizes effect the placement. ( small sun exert more radiation, means far off planets. with large suns have planets that can be closer, as well as tatooine like star systems.) you take your time lol you have a mod that has great potential. Thanks. I am not an astrophysicist, so I'm not sure why small suns should have farther bodies? Currently in this mod, I have basically all slots from 2-11 possible, except for large stars (blue) and binary stars, which will have 4-11, so planetoids don't end up within the star.

Love it! After I loaded up the Upbeat_G, I was so bothered by the placement of the planets, illogical! Thank you for adding a bit "realism" or rather "common sense" back to the game.
