Cool!!

After it's stopped working and using the old models, I have to say it's night and day for me now with the humans in this game. I'd go so far as to say that perhaps seeing this has made me consider that all the races could be touched on in a different fashion. This however is of course opinion. But look upon it and decide for yourself...

I tried creating a character and entering world but it freezes then gives an ingame error and returns me to the main menu.. It looks like an epic mod and i'd really like to play it.. is there anything i'm doing wrong?

I was having fun with this Race until I reached Tier 4, Durasteel, I don't even have any weapon there nor Armor.. If theres a way to fix this, PM Me, Cause I can't even type on a normal Forum since I can't see/The typing area isn't there.

Much nicer appearance for Human characters, nice that it doesn't overwrite the original so its non conflicting with the original race!

It's great, there's just one bug or issues with it, and I edited a bit myself to make it fit more with the anime theme.

Firstly, what I did was add the hylotl recipe list to the ningen race in the .species file, then I added the beginning hylotl clothing to the list of selectable shirt/pants.

After that, I noticed one particular hairstyle was messed up, or rather just incomplete
the osu000.png file has the back finished but the hairstyle on the top of the file just says "Start", so my character was bald with a big orange "start" above his head. All I did was replace it with some Apex hair since it already has the regular human hairstyles and the other beast races wouldnt fit for a human character

I got it to work this time around!
The only thing I have noticed is the blinking is not working quite properly, the blink animation is clipping through the eyes for me.
Would love to see your race get a custom ship. Keep up the good work :D

Looks fantastic, well executed, I wish this was implemented as the human race in vanilla!

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of Japanese drawing (manga or anime) characters, not that I hate or dislike them, I'm just not too hyped about them... but, regardless... these look 1000 times better than the vanilla humans!

I wish they made these as the official human characters in the game, because they give the feeling of playing an actual old school 16 bit game D:

Great mod. The only thing to point out is, would it be possible to make them have the inspect text of humans and make NPCs refer to them as humans?
