    Added notes about avian hair compatibility.

    New content in v. 1.1:

    Hair mod tutorial
    Most of the original set has been updated.
    Changed file names to be unique to this mod.

    ----

    Installation is easy!

    Create a mods folder (if you don't have one already) in your Starbound directory (Steam/steamapps/commmon/Starbound) and put the LissarHairMods folder in the mods archive.

    Then go to the file of your operating system (for example, Win32) and open up the bootstrap.config file in Notepad++ or similar program. Edit the bootstrap to locate these new assets. If you don't have other mods, it should look like this:

    {
    "assetSources" : [

    "../assets",

    "../mods/LissarHairMods"

    ],
    "storageDirectory" : ".."
    }

    If you add other mods to your bootstrap, remember to add a comma after every entry in the list except for the last one.

    If you are using other mods that alter the .species files there may be some incompatibility. To fix this manually, go into each .species file that you will make your main file and scroll down to the line that says "hair" (there will be two, one for male and one for female styles) and a series of numbers. Add on all the image file names for that species (for example "avianexhair1" in the avian.species file) to the end of the series of numbers (making sure to not put a comma after the last entry).

    Things to be aware of:

    I cannot guarantee that these will work 100% as I have not tested them beyond in character creation mode and in game. May not work with all head gear.

    As of the current version of the game they will not show up in multiplayer unless the mods are also installed on the server. Otherwise you will just look bald.

    There is some clipping in the portrait image with larger hair styles (especially if they extend to the right) due to some layering issues.

    Some avian "fluff" (the white part of the face) might not work with the hair styles as they are too large and are layered on top of the hair.

    very creative & varying hairstyles, fitting for every respective race.
    The pixelart is very creative and fits seamless into starbound.

    I actually yearnt for some of these hairstyles and this mod is making wet dreams come true.
