Outdated Hunting+ 1.2.3

This is a great mod to use if you don't want to spend a lot of time hunting for meat or leather!

Frozen4977, I posted a workaround to get the mod working again on the forum and I'm posting it here too.

It looks like the smallflyingnight.monstertype file was moved in this new update. Until Narweh can release an update to this mod, here's what you can do to get it working again.

Go to the mods/hunting+/monsters/flying folder. (If you don't know where the mods folder is for Starbound, you can find it by right clicking on Starbound in your games list then clicking Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local files.) You'll see two folders here, smallflying and smallflyingnight.

Copy smallflyingnight.monstertype from smallflyingnight to smallflying.

Delete the empty smallflyingnight folder.

Enjoy playing Starbound!

Good and helpful mod, but it doesn't work with the lastest Starbound update

Very cool mod! So far it only seems to affect the Alpha-sector planets, but it certainly is a great idea, and I like it!

Another mod that I can't play without after trying. Awesome job.

this is exactly what i need for my game play because i rarely get meat or leather, and always getting a corpse to turn it into what i want is awesome

Excellent piece of work here. Highly recommended. Does exactly what it needs to do :) Small incompatibility with Rise of the Hylotl, but it was an easy fix to add recipes for their fish into the bones/oil/scales. Job well done!

Does everything it says on the can. Great mod in every way. Fish drop fix no matter how you kill them, and even raw fish seems to give a bit too much in the way of nourishment (4 bars or so). Other than that, fantastic! I highly recommend mixing this mod with Tripod's Higher Hunting mod http://community.playstarbound.com/index.php?resources/higher-hunting.1126/ to get you some great hunting weapons all the way up to Tier 10.

This is pretty much what I'd imagined hunting should be in vanilla. The only difference is I thought of it as a carcass over a corpse, and I hadn't really thought of the bone, poultry or fish options. It's definitely a must for my Floran.

I think this is a great addition to the game. It gives you a great way to make what you need for recipes, and it also gives you more yield for the time you spend hunting. Going on my server!

Excellent mod, feels like it should be vanilla

I love hunting games ,but starbound is not a hunting games,when this mod added i feel like this a bit like hunting games THX A ALOT!

But offers the advantage of locking only one inventory slot. I'm really surprised that ALL the .treasurepools were modified (For myself i've only used the "hunting.treasurepool" because when you hunt flesh is all you want!), but anyway it's working!
If you find that your inventory is too small for hunting and getting MeatS, this is for you!
