This update brings a massive number of changes. The most important of which are Pleased Giraffe compatibility (I hope; I'm currently off the internet and building this on Upbeat Giraffe, but I've had some helpful testers) and a completely new way of learning recipes for the blocks in this mod.
To start out, you'll need to build an Instant Mail Catalog from a Teleporter Core and wood, plus optionally some diamonds at a crafting table or the Research Station for the Large Catalog.
Once you've got the catalog, you can buy Plans for the blocks you want to build. The plans teach you the recipes just by holding them and will teach you new recipes when the mod is updated with new blocks, so hold on to them.
After that, you craft blocks the way you're used to.
Here's a summary of new features in the form of lists:
New Crafting Stations
- Instant Mail Catalog (Small, Medium and Large)
- Requires a Teleporter Core
- Medium & Large require Diamonds
- Large requires a Research Station
New Blocks
- Macrocircuit Tileset and Macrocircuit LEDs
- Made at Wiring Station
- Trace and Board can be made from each other without a crafting station
- Force Field Tileset
- Made at Magnetic Crucible by burning up fuel
- Ore-Derived Stone and Crystal
- Made at various crafting tables from ore/bars/whatever, plus stone (except plastic)
New Ship Furniture
- These are primarily meant to be used with some kind of block-based ship mod
- I built them mostly for the sake of other modders
- Rusty tileset now has a re-colored human ship furniture set to match
- Obtained through "/spawnitem" admin commands, for now
- Fish tileset now has a re-colored hylotl ship furniture set to match
- Obtained through "/spawnitem" admin commands, for now
Other Changes
The new Ore-Derived blocks sampler:
- No longer requires visiting the Terramart for blueprints
- Must purchase plans for blocks from Instant Mail Catalog, but craft in the usual fashion
- Instant Mail provides some vanilla blocks and liquids, in exchange for pixels
- Random Grab Box (Large Catalog)
- Provides random selection of blocks or Gelatin
- Racial Storage Locker Plans (Large Catalog)
- Provides recipes for each race's Storage Locker, plus Fish Storage Locker and Rusty Storage Locker
